    A lot more depressing names than I was hoping to hear here. Brings the dreams of Samba, Berbatov, Gameiro crashing down if we are aiming for the likes of Upson & Vaughan. Obinna hasnt exactly set the world alight this season either.

    Oh well. Hope your mates wrong this time! <cheers>

    I've said this before but Upson is sooo ****e, he's worse than Campbell
    I hope that Traore isn't just a Peter Crouch-type, I want someone who brings more to our game than that

    I hope he is too.. the only names that really excite me are Gervinho and Lacina(to a certain degree). The rest aren't really that much of a improvement, although they'll all be good to have on the bench I guess. <ok>

    Don't worry I'm going out with my mate to a party on the weekend, hopefully I'll ask him about it there. :)

    Just watched a video of Traore on youtube...he looks pretty dire to be honest, definitely wouldn't want him for THAT much money!
    The rest are pretty...well...meh. I'd only really want N'Zogbia, and definitely not for 15m!

    This, not too excited about those mentioned. Traore would be good but price is clearly too high. Gervinho is the only one I'd take probably.

    All sound alright apart from Upson who's ****e, If Obinnas asking for too much i'm fine without him and N'zog for 15mil is too much

    i thought he looked alright not for 15 million euro's though. although that is about 12 mill in pounds still too much though remember he's only 21.

    I'm sorry but I do not believe this. It's not that I don't believe you, you are just telling what you have heard. Its just that unless your friends cousin is one of newcastles scouts, The club secretary or one of Alan Pardew, John Carver, Derek llambiars or Mike Ashley, then the probably wont know. As I believe this year the club will be keeping its transfers very close. I know a family member of Peter Beardsley, and even he doesn't have a clue who we are after...
