Players still seem to be away on holiday. Been a bit of transfer news in general but I don't think the transfer Market will start in earnest until week after next? What you all think?
I agree. I was keeping an eye on what was going on last year because we still didn't have a manger at this point. It all kicked off the second/third week in July when people came back from holiday to be told they didn't figure in their team's plans and should start looking. For example, Bellamy. If we can secure Senna and the loan deal for Caulker. Sort out a keeper, (Sandomierski or other) I think we'll be quite close to as prepared as we're gonna get. We need a bit more in defence if Rangel and Taylor aren't nailed down, but there's still time.
I agree, im sure some other names will appear over the next few weeks. Dorus I can live with losing, Taylor I want to stay, but if goes will be disappointed. Rangel I would be very disappointed about. Thanks dorus though, all the promotion squad are heroes in my eyes. I still can't believe we are in the promised land, let's enjoy the ride. I've seen bitter comments about hope swans beat derby points record etc. When these peoples clubs reach the premiership for the first time then they should comment, makes them look green with envy otherwise.
its all about wages - green, parker, cole from west ham, whittaker from rangers, even barton etc from newcastle
