At least you're honest enough to admit you've failed to bring in the players you needed. Oh well, always next season. <ok>

It will take him a few week to acclimatise and learn the league. By then who knows how far you will be behind the top 2. You had a whole month to sign a proven striker and didnt. Nigel had Chris Wood signed before the January window even opened

Odemwingie is probably looking for somewhere to go rather than facing the music back at WBA

Were there any rumours to the contrary? I know he's been training with United, but I would have been surprised if they snapped him up that quickly. Is it back at Leicester now? It'll be interesting to see what happens in the summer with Schlupp.

Over the transfer window Hull and Leicester have both signed one striker.

We signed ours on the 1st, Hull signed theirs on the 31st.

Since the opening of the window we've each had these results in the league...

    Leicester 2-1 Wolves
    Leicester 1-0 Middlesbrough
    Bristol 0-4 Leicester
    Leicester 6-1 Huddersfield

13 goals in 4 games. 9 goals from strikers.

    Peterborough 1-1 Hull
    Hull 1-3 Sheff Wed
    Blackpool 0-0 Hull

2 goals in 3 games. 0 goals from strikers.

That sounds like a crazy situation. I bet he doesn't play again until next season... and not for WBA!

I think he's a good enough PL striker.

No surprise he doesn't get in ahead of Lukaku or Long though.

Maybe lower prem striker. He'd do well to drop down to the championship though. Dunno why QPR were so desperate to sign him

I personally am. Bit dissapointed we didn't bring a winger in but other than that can't complain. There are a few on the leeds board who aren't happy though

How bout you? Did you think leicester needed to add more than they did? You guys only signed Wood didn't you?

    Yeah, and young Bolger left.

I would have ideally liked to have signed back-up for Wood and Nuge, as I think there's a chasm of quality between those two and the rest, but lets just hope we can stay injury free.

To be fair though you weren't doing badly before Wood so as long as one of em doesn't get a lengthy injury you guys should be able to fill in a few games here and there. I really can't see you guys being stopped at the moment

I would have prefered more signings tbh, if Wood or Nugent get injured, i think it will cost a fair few points.
