We are linked again with this player as we were last summer and january (Daily Star). As we appeared to have been quite interested in the past and he is now fully fit again after his injury and now available from Bayer Leverkusen on a free anyone think he might be a good experienced player to bolster our midfield squad. Regular international with Switzerland and played in German League. Leverkusen dont appear to want him to leave so he hasnt been released, just out of contract. Only 27 years old so plenty of mileage in him particularly on a free.
Other than 2 free kick goals v England i cant say i know anything much about him so does anyone else know more?

Good player, too many injuries, would request a medium to high wage, so has to be a no

 

Reason for him being availabel is that he was asking £35,000 per week. For that he needs to be pretty good and also stay healthy.

 

He's not handsome enough sorry.

 

He's too old at 27 for our policy.

 

If he's fit and doesn't want too much money which was a problem last year then fine, other than that stay clear, think Arsenal might look at him.
