Indeed. I want a captain calling people out for not giving their all although it doesn't need to come to blows. Lascelles certainly has a winner's mentality and he won't accept anything less than 100% - I seem to recall him telling the likes of Sissoko et al this in the relegation season. I just hope Shelvey isn't sidelined because of this.
I have no problem with this. You should train as you play, it should always be feisty. Players should certainly be calling each other out for being lazy. If it leads to a bit of rough and tumble its no big deal. I've seen this many a time at a lower level when I played and it never did any harm. Obviously the pros are a bit more pampered and so may get huffy but then they are probably not the characters you want if so.
