Francesco Totti has announced he'll play his last game for Roma on Sunday vs. Genoa. 25 years at Roma, scoring 307 goals in 785 games. A feat unlikely to be repeated. please log in to view this image
There's uproar nearly every week when he doesn't get on and then uproar when he does get on. Spalletti can't win.
Yeah I know. But it was confirmed by the club weeks ago. It was actually 3, not 6, it just seemed longer: http://www.football-italia.net/102031/monchi-’it’s-totti’s-final-year’ It was reported heavily on Sky Sports, so it's not like it wasn't announced here. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-playing-at-the-end-of-the-season-says-monchi
Since Totti made his Roma debut, Palermo have had 55 coaches http://www.football-italia.net/103114/francesco-totti-joined-roma…
Yeah, this has been known for a few weeks now. A fantastic player, one of my faves. Probably the last great 'one-club' player we'll ever see. (Before you say it BCC, I know he was elsewhere before Roma)
I'm pretty sure he only played senior football for Roma. People don't tend to refer to youth teams when talking of previous clubs.
Some amazing clips from his final farewell today. The full stadium literally in tears. Funnily enough I didn't see him sub himself off after 10 mins for a choreographed guard of honour.
