Aye and just like your failed petition, I thought I'd rehash something old and already dealt with :)

But dearie, you sounded soooo triumphant.

Really, what a sad sack you are if all you have to look forward to is to gloat over a justified enquiry into the procedure surrounding the award of a stadium to Wet Spam! A stadium that the vast majority of Spurs fans never wanted anyway.

I think it's more upwards & downwards in your case.

That'd be myself mounting your missus.

By the by, it's nice to see Spuds FC back where they belong, propping up the rest of the league.

I don't like any yids. So it's a broad hatred rather than for something specific about that individual aside from being a yid.

I actually used to like West Ham when I was a kid. They were my grandad's team - he was born and raised in the East End. Sadly, their fan base seems to have been hijacked by a bunch of racist Neanderthals who refer to people as Yids, Spics, chinks, or whatever. I'm not Jewish myself, but I have friends who are.

Anyway, my distaste for your current general fanbase matches your apparent one for ours, I assure you

You just can't bring yourself to accept the fact that it was not justified, which is why it has been kicked into touch.

You need to let go, take a deep breath and accept that you lost the Olympic stadium because someone else put together a more competent bid. If not, it will continue to eat you up inside :emoticon-0106-cryin

It most certainly doesn't 'eat me up', I assure you. Like most Spurs fans, I was against the idea of moving there,

However, I think that one premiership side has been handed a significant financial advantage over all others by a decision taken by a local council. The process by which this was done has always been shrouded in controversy, and like many others, I felt an enquiry into the award process was justified.

Justified, how was it justified? everyone was given the same obligations to fill with regard to the stadium, only West Ham complied, so West Ham won. If you ask people to sell you a red Ford Escort and people turn up wih every thing but, you tell them to **** off, which is what happened. Only West Ham arrived with the 'red Ford Escort'. They promised to keep the stadium and have athletics there, which were the two core obligation to EVERY bid, Trotterham promised to knock it down and send the Athletics around the corner to a pokey place.

Something that should be investigated is a govt handout to an off-shore company that had just sold an asset for £80m+ profit. How did Trotterham get their free £40m handout for their stadium? Is it because the local scum rioted when their local crack dealer got shot?

    A long irrelevant rant!

Firstly, I couldn't give a toss about the O.S. Never wanted it and glad we didn't get it. Secondly, this is why there should be a public enquiry. The amount of public money used to essentially gift a stadium to a private enterprise.

    http://www.spectator.co.uk/features...pic-legacy-paying-to-build-the-stadium-twice/

There is also the question of the distinct financial advantage being gained by WHU in this affair. It doesn't just concern Spurs, but all other premiership clubs.

Part of the public funding for our new stadium comes directly from The Mayor of London. And yes, it's to help reconstruct the area after the riots. What you conveniently ignored, or missed all together, was that an equal amount was given to Croydon, as these were the two areas most affected in the riots. Unless you're suggesting Spurs have some financial interest in the regeneration of Croydon, I don't see your point.

Admittedly, the rest of the public money comes from Haringey Council.
