  1. Yes, I did.

You implying that I didn't? Why the **** would anyone brag about something like that? Even in my day, N17 was a ****hole!

    Which school?

  3. Risley Avenue (infants and junior), and then Tottenham Comprehensive (which closed down a while back).

Tottenham Comp used to be the old grammar school. It was quite close to Somerset School. We had the yellow and black ties, and they had the blue and black.

Do you want to know what I used to have for school dinners?

No need as we had the same dinners most likely because I also went to Risley.

    My last teacher was Brownlow.

Who was headmaster in your day?

  7. That could have had an "e" on the end. I don't remember.

Did you go to secondary school in Tottenham?

  8. Do you remember a Mr Bien (I think that's the spelling). We used to joke that his first name was probably "Les!" The bastard gave me a slippering during PE, in front of the entire class. I probably deserved it, though.

It may be substantial but it's still less than Levy is paid at Spurs , despite you having a lower revenue and less commercial and footballing success <ok>

Also, Gazidis as well as being CEO and responsible for the successful operational side of the club, is also responsible for bringing big name transfers and lucrative commercial deals to the club. I'm sure that Arsenal feel that he's worth every penny.

Again though, none of the directors take any money out of Arsenal other than their salaries and as stated some even donate any extras to charity. Your assertion that they are just in it to make money is not correct as far as Arsenal are concerned.

Now, ENIC Lewis and Levy on the other hand ...... Didn't Lewis put Spurs up for sale recently for a ridiculous £1bn ? It's clear who's trying to make a quick buck here <ok>

I think it's always been clear that ENIC's intention is to sell at what they consider to be the right price. Is £1bln ridiculous? The way things are going in the Prem? I doubt they'd sell for that now.

The point I was trying to make is that none of these people are in it for anything other than profit. Your major shareholders are Kroenke - an American, and Usmanov - a Russian. Do you seriously believe they bought, and are holding the shares they have, for any other reason than a business one? I can assure you that Kroenke's interest in your club is not some great love of "Sackerr"

Apparently it was only last year that Lewis wanted to sell for £1bn and he had precisely zero takers, so no Spurs are not worth £1bn, especially without the revenue of Champions League football and the reported £400m millstone to pay for the new stadium.

The figures I've seen put Spurs' value at around £700m, with Arsenal at £1.2bn and Man Utd at £1.85bn.

Again as for Arsenal's directors, they take no money out of the club other than their salaries. Shareholders come and go and make money on selling their shares. But Arsenal's directors do not take any money out of the club.

Although those figures quoted above will dramatically increase when the new TV deals kick in in 2016-2017 season.

  14. You're out of your depth, here, PISKIE. The wise thing to do is to refrain from commenting on things you know nothing about.

  15. Yeah, I remember her. He name was pronounced "diggy," if I remember correctly. I think my sister was in her class.

Was there a Mr Brownjohn? I'm sure there was. There was a Mr Knowles and a Miss Griffin, also.

I find it hard to remember the teacher's names.

  18. I remember that - in assembly! We used to go in the hall, every now and then, to sing songs, like "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head."

Do you remember the old school garden?
