    I recall the Dutch team of the 70s where players tended to pop up all over the pitch as they were all so comfortable in any position.

    My current Spurs 'total football' team would be.

    Lloris
    Kaboul Vertonghen
    Paulinho Sandro Dembele
    Lennon Holtby Eriksen Townsend
    Soldado


    Picked on the basis of all round skill. I reckon it might struggle against real quality but would be pretty exciting to watch

    I wonder how Townsend would do playing fullback/winger. Lennon's been doing it for years.
