I know it was only pre-season, but the past 2 matches in Asia the guy is making me feel like he is going to start the season with the same form he ended with last year.

I watch him and still see no confidence, dragging shots wide, poor touches, he looked heavy on the feet when trying to take a couple of players on in yesterdays game.

I hope that he can find the form that he needs to start banging in the goals, but at the moment it looks to me like Drogba should have the nod, not really based on performance, but based on pressence.

I didn't see the game but I still have faith AVB can get Torres back - just look how well he did with Falcao and Hulk at Porto.

I saw the game. It's not Torres who worries me, it's Obi Mikel.
He hardly passed to one of our players all game. Also we still look far too narrow. The strikers won't thrive until we get some pace and width in the side. We bring young players in and all we hear is "He's one for the future", which is fine but what about now? Wide players with pace now please AVB.
