Who does everyone think will finish in the top six in order. For me it goes as follows. 1. Cardiff city 2. Hull City ..................... 3.Leicester City 4. Middlesborough 5. Crystal Palace 6. Brighton & Hove Albion I've just going on got with Brighton. I really can't see Cardiff ****ing it up now. Minimum top two for them. The 2nd automatic space is wide open and anyone could take it. It wouldn't surprise me if someone comes outta nowhere ala Reading I'm thinking maybe Forest (good strikers at the disposable) or Brighton (play good football and could easily go a long unbeaten run)
Dont write of Blackburn. I know it looks hopeless now but win 4 on the bounce at any point and theyll be up there. Im almost sure of it.
Cardiff Leicester Middlesborough Hull Palace Blackburn I think Palace will really drop off, but I really don't see any real quality beneath the play-offs to sneak in. I think Blackburn maybe, but they're currently 12 points behind Palace which is a lot to make up. I think that sixth spot is anybody's at the moment. I fancy us for that second spot, thankfully we now have the striker we've been crying out for all season without too much damage done (only five points to make up, thanks to our goal difference) and something tells me that it will be a Boro v Hull play-off final, which Boro will win I'm sorry to say.
12 points seem a lot, but get a new manager and its amazing how quick you climb. Im sure Blackburn will make it.
Watford to finish above us? Nice one Charlie. I see you've stuck with the current top six, just swapped the play-off teams around. It'll be a MAJOR surpirise to me if this happens. And what's with the CITY in capital letters? There's only one true City in that list...and it's not Cardiff.
Because it is really irritating that people call us Hull. Even more irritating when ITV call us Hull FC!
I think so. We only dropped out of the top two because we struggled for goals, Wood as arrived to solve this issue. Boro and Hull... not much in it. That's why I think this could be the play-off final.
Charlie, it's his opinion. I agree with it based on current squads. Don't think you have a striker that'll turn losses into draws and draws into wins.
We're only five points behind you, not 15! It can be overturned in two matches. Our (current) superior goal difference means we're finish above you if we end up on the same points. All it takes is for you to draw one and lose one, and us to get maximum points. Not that difficult. And as for Boro, they could leapfrog you in the next round of matches.
If Leicester don't finish in the top 2 after spending over £16M on transfers in the last 2 seasons its criminal http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/championship/transferentwicklung/wettbewerb_GB2.html The fact that they are still spending is criminal in itself, but I suppose QPR bought promotion so why not them too!!
Everyone knows Sven wasted money last season. I hope you're not presenting this as news. Regarding this season, we've only just passed Millwall in spending thanks to taking the player that took you to the verge of the play-offs. If a club of our size, ambition and wealth as only just surpassed a little club like Milwall in expenditure, then we're doing great under Nige.
If old big forehead doesn't get you up with £16m of talent at his dispiosal he should be demoted to toilet cleaner.
Actually, Matt Mills (a 3rd of that) and Beckford (between them amounting about half of it) are not at his disposal (not that he'd pick them if they were here). I think you're missing the point that just because Sven spent around 12m on 'players' doesn't mean they're any good.
