They're not gone yet...Everton & Watford might come up with the goods. If Sunderland draw with Everton tomorrow and lose at Watford then Newcastle will have to beat Spurs to stay up. Not an impossible scenario. I'd like to see it go down to the last game
I am fed up of hearing how fanatical their fans are and how they deserve to be a top club because their fans are, well their fans are no better fans than any fan of any football team.
It's like chalk and cheese, when you consider the Sunderland lot, and if your theory is correct, then how do you explain the difference between Kairdiff fans and the clearly more intellectual Jack Army? You can't, so sit down, your getting a right trouble maker this season, otherwise I'll set breezy on you for all your Franco bashing.............
For a club the size of the toon then they must be so badly run not even coming close to challenging for anything for decades......Their fans must have patients boarding on the ridiculous putting up with a club big enough to challenge for the title and win something at least once in 30 odd years instead of being down the bottom and a also ran....If there was a title for the worst Big club in the world then Newcastle wins hands down.....
Newcastle to swap with Middlesborough? That's fine by me. At least with Middlesborough our fans will be in a stadium where (a) you can see the game and (b) there is an atmosphere. Being shoved up in the gods in Newcastle, miles from the pitch and atmosphere makes it the worst ground in the PL for away fans, imo.
Stay in York overnight (44 pubs inside the town walls) and then travel over to Middlesborough for the game.
I'm just out of shot of that picture. leicester away. Over 20 cans there and back. We're bot needy ****s apart from wanting a team which tries. The killer is... We have that now.. But alas too little too late.
I wouldn't say we are a big club at all mate. Big on history but that matters not a jot. We would win the Frank Spencer cup of club mismanagement though.
Boro? Are you serious? It's next to a petrochemical plant and the locals all have extra fingers and toes. You need to have an NBC suit on to stay healthy in that town........
Shame you didn't bring in Raffa sooner, we'd be having a good old party to send the Mackem down..........
