And meet some fans who we owe lots to. 4 very big subjects that any PR person would tell you to 'spread the good news' and don't announce all at once. At around 7.30am this morning, 13 hours later, TF tweeted the following: Tony Fernandes ‏@tonyfernandes 1h No news today. Just lots of work being done behind the scenes It's great that TF is interacting with the fans but FFS, how concrete were any of these 4 subjects to tweet about them and then bang, 13 hours later nothing. Someone needs to tell him to calm down and only promote news when things are done.
Players out also on Thursday. I'm starting to get more excited about players leaving than coming in ................ why? Because we need to shift first which then gives us more flex to buy what we want ( Harry wants )
Will Harry be skyping in for this meeting. Isn't he having a knee op?? Tarrabt on the agenda? Let's get things moving and sorted to get the team together. Bound to be a few late loanees from EPL to add, so le'ts get other signings sorted and in pre-season.
Tony's tweets remind me of those annoying radio ads about what amazing features will be covered in the Sunday papers but by the time you actually get your hands on the paper you search and search in vain; topics not covered. Isn't it about time he have it a rest?
So which part in the yesterday's tweet says he'd have something to announce today? He's working behind the scenes to sort out training ground, new stadium, players in and out. These things take time, it's not done in one or two days.
I really wish our multi-millionaire owner would get the f**k off twitter!! He is like a kid that needs attention. Comes across really un-professional and naïve. Tony, just shut the f up and do your job quietly and properly. If I was him I'd be ducking for cover after last season.
pretty daft saying that, he makes it sound as if theres stadium new plus players coming in and out, obviously others thought that and asked him which is why he had to tone (pun intended) it down.
