Phew, I was expecting something like "all the money has gone! Administrators about to take airline and QPR to be wound up by HRMC next Monday. Sorry guys, gave it my best shot!"....
Could have something to do with the fact TF has just arrived back in this country. I dropped off at Heathrow this morning and my next pick-up was a QPR Holdings account job at Harlington. When I got there it was to pick up a guy who works for Caterham Cars, he'd been requested to bring one of their cars to Harlington for TF and had to drive it over from Dartford. He was saying TF is still involved with Caterham Cars and they regularly see him when he's in this country. He didn't give much away on the football side other than he gets invited to matches every so often when TF is around. He was saying the car business is doing very well so that was clearly separate from the Grand Prix set-up. He said there's lots going on about Warren Farm but still a lot to happen before things can start. No doubt we'll be hearing more from TF in the next few days...
May be TF will be sounding Charlie out about a move to Sunderland after Xmas. Fat Sam's reported as sniffing, fairly predictable guess. I could see a situation that we want to sell and Charlie wants to stay and be a free agent in the summer
Charlie's in a strong position, I think he'll stay unless a Top 6 club are after him. He'd be crazy to join a relegation candidate mid-season...
Charlie would be made to go up there. That club is an old dinosaur awaiting extinction (relegation). They will be another Leeds.
I can't see any reason why he would - Ellers description of Sunderland is right - if by any incredible chance we were promoted, he'd negotiate for a new contract...otherwise its pastures new, and presumably since he's free, he can expect good offers on wages Edit - sorry, Sooper - just seen your earlier post which pretty much said this
