Precisely. Your point seems to be getting lost somewhat...

So one game playing decent stuff turns him into a tiki taka manager?

I think God knows how many years of seeing him build a team of cheating thugs set up to sit back, kick the opposition and launch the ball like trebuchets up to the big man is more than enough back up, over one solitary game.

Palace didn't hoof it last season, and I predict that West Brom will continue to play good football this year.

I also predict that you will continue to piss and moan about players and managers forever more.

Palace definitely hoofed it last season, all they did was sling it straight down the wings, or to Chamakh who would then sling it down the wings.

It's beside the point as they still kicked, dived, fouled and played like cheating thugs, just like Stoke did, just like Gillingham did, as I suspect WBA will be doing from now on. And that's the real ****ter.

Nowt wrong with playing direct, I'll bet Palace fans were reasonably entertained by their fast counter attacking play last season, though BFS' West Ham of yesteryear catapulting the ball into the heavens for Carroll and picking up seconds balls would grate real quickly.

Recent analysis of BFS's tactics actually proved that his team are playing just as many long balls as they did last season, which just goes to show what a load of bollox it all is.

whilst i agree that stats may dictate bfs does this especially with stupid donkey carroll in the side. When carroll has not been in the side big sams teams are entertaining. Sahko valencia downing. Pace power and skills with song. Opta may call them long balls but they are not the long ball sort where its been chucked into the air for the striker to contest. This year big sam has been playing footie properly.

As for chucking the ball down the wings and into channels. Thats not proper long ball in my eyes. Yes pulis teams are cynical but minus arsenal i dont know any team that isn't. Your team is bad for it too (hull)

Balls down the wings are not traditional long balls, you are correct, Arsenal are not necessarily cynical when it comes to fouling but they do cheat same as every other team.
Just out of coincidence, seen as you refer to Hull City as "your team," who is your team?

My teams chelsea. But im more of a liverpool hater than a chelsea fan (odd but true) . I was just replying to mr hat who hates pulis cynical defending when every team does it. Its up to the ref to stamp out cynical defending and unfortunately no team is going to just not be cynical.

I'd rather watch a team play 'The Tony Pulis Way' than tiki taka (sic) any day of the week. Call me weird but I prefer dynamic, attacking, football with shots on goal over 25 sideways passes then back to the keeper.
