There were problems with site this afternoon and Mick has done a temp fix. He is going to shut the site at some point tonight, clear some SQL's and re-boot it to see if that clears problems.

He spend a reasonable amount of money upgrading server about a month ago so he's not sure why things have slowed but he is working on it <ok>

    Well, sh!t happens.

Speaking of dodgy site-work, though, does anyone else reckon Tom Harvey has written his OS report directly off of James Healey's Twitter account?! Ominously similar wording!

Probably, it's pretty much all anybody has to go on, especially quickly. They did a good job the Bristol boys

Hey! I expect up to date reports with deep and meaningful insight into the perfomance of every player... they can hack Powell's mobile if necessary... ;-)

Ckecked for this result from work over lunch, nice to see. Just a friendly, but we seem to be giving every one a good chance to show their wares.

Did morrison make a bad mistake in the welling match or was that stephens ?

Morrison was possibly MoM against Welling, it was Stephens.

just watched the higlights on brizzle citehs player.

we were markedly better in the 2nd half. Ruben boverIzquierdo looks a real prospect.

elliott...going backwards quickly. Sullivan made 3 excellent dashes out to nipp attacks in the budd and bravely dive at feet. Robbie McChickenNugget (i love his attitude but cant accept the weight issue - he is a professional athelete FFS) was again caught on the back foot for the goal.

Cheers AllHell, no drama's for me, i was just curious. These guys havent even had a chance to get to know each other let alone form a team out their, so i am very excited at how good we could be in say 3-4 months time.

Yeah it seems to me sullivan will get the nod and it will be his jumper to lose.

Are you on CAFC Player if so you can access the BCFC Player and watch on there about 5mins of action.
The BCFC goal wasnt as bad as first described and we did dominate 2nd half..and we have strength in depth morte so than any of our rivals...looks live CP has bought well.

1:10am mikey, im a night owl, always have been.

Highlights were good, benson is getting into it, impressing. And the young spaniard seems a real likely one.

D'y'all reckon there's going to be a bit of a to-do in centre-mid this year? Stephens and Hollands both arrived with good reps, Alonso's not even started in the squad yet, while Am-I-Bovered seems to be causing a bit of a selection dilemma for Powell. With both JJ and Green looking like starting wingers... who's going to play in midfield?!

LOL. You left out our star player, McOxo (and Bradley Pritchard, but I think we can assume he is only squad back-up).

I wouldn't mind five in midfield, especially as Green and Jackson will be regular scorers (we hope). The problem with that is that none of our centre-forwards is the right type to play a loan role and it would be hard to leave out BWP or Hayes (as I assume he only dropped down a division in the expectation of getting a regular place). And Benson must be hoping to revive his partnership with Green.

Leaving aside questions of quality, who was the last player we had who was the right type to play upfront alone? I guess Pavel Abbott or Gray should have been (but weren't)? Otherwise you have to go back to the two Bents. It's a hard role to play. Darren is about the best England have and much as I love him he isn't true international class. No wonder top players of that type command huge fees around the world.

Anyway, nice problem for CP to have, and one many of our divisional rivals will envy.

Good point, Eddie, forgot Pritchard... there's another one in the mix. Realistically I wouldn't be happy with a 1 up front in a division we're trying to win, and I don't think the players signed are set up for this either. Think it's a genuine Powell headache... like it!!

Gray should've been, certainly, Pawel was too far away from being any sort of striker to even comment!!
