    The Merseyside derby...

We just beat one half, and have the other half next...

    Anyone any preference?

A nice tiring game will do....and a draw....

It's tough call to be honest... it might be better for us in Liverpool won but I've come to so despise Dalglish, Suarez &co that I have to hope for an Everton win... oh and a very, very tiring game.

I wouldn't mind a rush of blood that saw a couple of Everton's key players suspended either

A draw for me is the best result for us - from a selfish SAFC point of view !

I would love to overtake Liverpool and finish above them !

I think it will be a draw tonight, hopefully a hard fought one with suspensions to Fellani and Bains. I also hope Jelevic does not score for them because we don't want him to get on a run of goal scoring run

a pulsating 4-4 draw, with each player (including the goalies) running at least the equivalent of 2 full marathons.

2 red cards (one straight and on for 2 yellows) for Everton for their 2 key players, and slight injuries for their next 2 key players that will just keep them out of the FA cup game.

Am I asking for too much?

Interestingly enough, Liverpool and Everton are seperated by Sunderland alone in the premier league table as it stands today. Liverpool 7th, Sunderland 8th and Everton 9th. Along with the help of the random FA Cup draw, Sunderland are the club that stood before Liverpool last weekend and Everton this weekend in the FA Cup.

I'm more than happy to consolidate for the time being and make an attack towards 6th place as the season comes to a close so for me, I'd prefer a Liverpool win tonight.

A long hard game with a draw. Leaveing Liverpool only three points ahead, so when we beat Blackburn we are in the Semis and 7th!!!!

One of the most dirty, bad tempered, hard fought and tiring scouse derby games ever seen. Blood and guts everywhere in 0 0 result.

Cahill and Fellaini both sent off for violent conduct and miss the next game. Maybe a knock or two to 1 or 2 others in blue.

Apart from that, I'm not that bothered really. Lol

Any other time I would prefer to see Everton beat Liverpool 10-0 however due to the current league positions I'm having a one off blip. In some respects it is quite painful to hope Liverpool beat Everton but Sunderland is where the heart is. :)

It's a tricky one. Liverpool win and they go 5 points ahead of us, Everton stay behind us but lose a bit of ground on goal difference. A draw and Liverpool are 3 points ahead of us and Everton 1 point but both are within reach. Everton win and they go 3 points ahead and Liverpool stay 2 points ahead but both are still within reach. So I guess anything but a Liverpool win would be best for us even though we do drop 1 place in the league.

You forgot about the added extra time for medical treatment while players are removed from the field <ghost>

I want to see an absolute blood bath of a derby, with Everton losing to a last minute goal to knock their pluck in.
If it wasn't for the cup game coming up, I wouldn't be fussed one way or the other.
