The night we lose a game, I'm sure we will turn up but, Everton next week and maybe Wembley, QPR at home on Saturday, Blackburn fighting for their lives and hitting a bit of form. It just feels like it could be a night we don't need, that one step to far this week, or am I being pessimistic?
Think the cup has given everybody confidence. Assuming we do not get complacent I expect at least a point tonight, hoping for 3.
I don't think we will lose the game tonight. We've had our daft day out at WBA and even if 2 or 3 are changed, I fancy us to get something. Blackburn, as I said several weeks ago after Martys first incredible game, are not the worst side I've seen this season and full credit to kean for sticking it all out. 1-1 or 2-0 to us. I think it will be that sort of game.
Tough one to call Blackburn are starting to get it together now and, are fighting for survival so don't see a high scoring game or a pretty one for that matter. Would be happy with a point which is what I reckon we will get, 1-1 0-0.
Although now all our outfield players have the potential to score, unfortunately our strikers are not prolific. Therefore we are unlikely to score lots of goals, but one or two goals is always likely. Tonight we will have to play hard and tight once again and we do now expect one or two players to pop up with a goal, and if we stop the oppo scoring we will get a win. A year or to of top half or better finishes improving the squad and having cup runs beating the mags etc is something realistically I look forward with relish.
Well I feel a little better now, like going to the docs with a niggly cough and getting a wonder drug, not coughed for over an hour now.
I don't think you'll lose. I thought you guys would fold without Cattermole and Sessegnon but you haven't, at all, so I give up trying to figure it out.
We are only 1 point ahead of 14th place, 3 points from the magic 40, not that I think we need 40 this season, but defeat tonight, defeat against QPR and we may be looking over our shoulders again, rather than looking up. (we will probably be 14th-15th rather than 7th-10th anyway) Winning breeds confidence, It wont be the end of the world if we did lose, but to say it wont matter at all...
It matters to me steve just can't see us winning though mate, with you on the 40 points thing though.
We are not going down, nor are we likely to climb much further. The only team this game will have an affect on is Blackburn. It is a game which carries less significance for us than many of late, regardless of how anyone tries to big it up.
