Charlton tomorrow night is a big, big chance of us getting second place and increasing our chances of finishing second come the end of the season. If we win we're second on goal difference with 2, 1 and 2 games in hand on Huddersfield, Peterborough and MK Dons respectively. Go to the Valley, put in a sterling performance, grab the 3 points, get second. Seems simple, but this is Saints we're talking about. Do we EVER do it the easy way? I hope so. COYS
We've been given a great chance. Now it's up to Saints to dispel the idea that we lose important games. In other words, give us fans a break!
I'm going tomorrow - needless to say I'll be screaming my head off. Just hope Saints don't snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, as is the norm COYR!!!
Wish I could be there tomorrow, but I must implore those of you who are going to get behind the team for the full 90 minutes, and not get frustrated if we're not winning at half time. Be the 12th man!
Tonights result has to be a great boost to the team. Win and we are not going to be playing catch up. Sure the others can overtake on Saturday but they will need to get a result first and we win, we increase the pressure.
I predict Charlton will over water the pitch just before kick off and Saints will slip around all over the place, and concede a well dodgy deflected own goal or similar! Still think it will be 1-1 though
