Have I got my dates correct, tomorrow was supposed to be the big announcement day.

Who thinks we will be told who owns PAFC.............?

Who thinks we will hear nothing tomorrow............?

    Place your bets here please.

    Maybe someone else completely,who knows..........?

Thats probably covered by my comment......."Place your bets here please"

Seriously I think their exclusivity covers them to the end of the month of June . Ridsdale said, I think, or was it Guilfoyle an announcement at the begining of July,Who knows !!!

I bet it gets "delayed" again...
It really shouldn't take this long should it, it probably won't be all sorted before the season starts

I got moaned at by sensible last week for predicting this. If there were to be an announcement tomorrow I think we would have heard some mutterings by now but the silence is deafening.

Maybe we need to kiss the blarney stone and our Irish bidders will reveal all. Probably not.

It is most likely it will be deferred until the end of the month. This will not be welcome by most, no news is good news?

Not moaned at Reid-all-about-it. All I was saying is we will hear when we hear and not before. Which is a pretty obvious statement I know. What is the point of getting all wound up about something you have no control over? They will be like any other Board. They will tell you what they want you to know and only that, when they want to tell you and not before and the rest assume you will accept anything and carry on dolling out your cash. They are probably right in a lot of cases. If I were to place a bet plymborn then I would bet that it will not be tomorrow. I agree with the majority it will probably be at the very end of the month or within days afterwards. Chill folks you never thought it would be the 14th from the start so should not be disappointed.

They have exclusivity until the end of the month, they signed the agreement a fortnight after Guilfoyle.

They have exclusivity AND confidentiality until the end of the month due to the late signing of the agreement, so we've all been working off the wrong calendar and aren't likely to hear anything very soon.

I can see this coming to blows: the bidders are saying they'll never be the owners of the football club as it will go straight to Ridsdale and therefore they don't need to identify themselves to the Football League. The Football League however don't accept that.............

Well I tend to agree with the football league, secrecy is never a good thing.

So do I Reid-all-about-it but it still does not mean I'm going to get all upset about the thing. I'm as unhappy as the rest of you appear to be even if it doesn't always sound like it. I would much rather have somebody coming in who was upfront right from the start and I knew had the footballing side of the club in their hearts. But we haven't got that and are in no position to be picky as these people seem to be the only game in town. If somebody else wants to come in and change that then they have my blessing. These are only the prefered bidders out of those that played a hand. If another one turned up with a better hand then I assume these people could still be ousted despite their status. After all, prefered does not mean guaranteed by my definition.
