Tommy Boyd--Who He???

I was rummaging about in the loft yesterday, and came across an old programme, Chelsea - Everton 1991. There's a left back on our team sheet called Tommy Boyd. Now--like all the rest of us I am an expert on on all Chelsea players ,present and past, but for the life of me I cant recall this bloke. It says he's been ever present, which makes even more of a puzzle! Does anyone know anything about him?

 

I remember him for Scotland, his Wiki says he couldn't settle down at Chelsea so he went to Celtic in which we got Cascarino (who was ****e)

 

I remember Cascarino ....and yes, like you say-for all the wrong reasons!

 

Yep, we had a lovely FA cup run with him in the squad though! . I vaguely remember that final in '94, pesky Cantona

Thanks for that Robby. I obviously saw him on quite a few occasions, but for all that I still cant remember him! Having read your text I can now understand why. Strange to know he had a career so brilliant after he left us that he earned an MBE.
