According to FLS last night Ince's contract is been discussed with blackpool and he might be looking at a move away. Could he be a possible target in January?
He'll go to the Prem. Liverpool want him back quite desperately, especially now they are getting rid of Downing. If we (somehow) got him then that would be a helluva signing.
Premier League bound, not even worth trying. If we was going to stay in the Championship, he'd stay at Blackpool. The scousers will sign him I reckon.
think people are getting a little unrealistic with January targets, almost as bad as Leeds fans thinking they will go for Charlie Austin !!
how is it unrealistic? his contract is a contencious issue and if rumours are true he's looking for a move away. We are a big team pushing for automatic promotion and are in a promising place. if no premier league clubs try to sign him ( though they probably will ) i see no reason why he wouldnt come here?
Other than the fact that this would never happen it's also worth remembering our formation when considering targets. We're unlikely to sign attacking wingers like Ince or Townsend when we play a 3-5-2 that's working well.
Do your research! LFC get a 30% sell on fee, so can buy him for 30% less than any other club. Man U are sniffing. And you think we might have a shout? Do you read the internet / news? With talk of £6 million plus you can dream?
Blackpool still have to accept any offer, so it won't work out any differently will it? If Liverpool offer £6m and it only works out as £4m (dont worry about the actual amounts) then Blackpool won't value the bid any more highly than a £4m bid from elsewhere will they? None of which affects us of course. He's just a better version of Aluko anyway isn't he? The last kind of player we need.
^ are you challenging the OP for the most stupid post on this thread? LFC get 30% of the fee if Blackpool sell Ince. So.......... (you might need a pen and paper) They can bid 30% less than any other club and Blackpool get the same amount of cash. If they offer £6m then it would cost any other club £9m for Blackpool to get "£6M". So if Manure offer £9m then LFC could say, that makes 6 for you and £3 for us so why don't you take £6 and a bit from us and we both win. You have the maths the wrong way round with talk of £6 and £4
Yes. I've messed that one up. And thinking about it is making it more confusing, so I'm going to bed instead.
Media reports suggest that Brighton will bid £4m for Austin in Jan to replace CMS who is wanted by Norwich City. As for Tom Ince he look destined for Liverpool again. Whatever the fee is for Ince will be reduced by 35% due to a sell on clause.
don't see why this can't happen. walcott should follow in the summer along with ballotelli especially now mr allem has plans for a 70k seater super dome on disused goole dockland. also heard pep guardiola been lined up to conquer europe with the tigers........ can't wait.
