At the moment are we a team of individuals? I'm not going to bother what has already been said about our league form, every Liverpool fan knows the run we're on and knows it not good enough. I'm also not going to talk about Kenny resigning either. I feel that our league form so far this season has been our own downfall. We haven't been played of the pitch, we haven't really been thrashed apart from the odd game, but we've been wasteful. And for that we deserve to be 8th. The bottom line is, since we went on this awful run we're not playing as a team and on ones taking any sort of blame within the club. We just look like a team of individuals who are all playing for themselves and not for the club. Something has to change within the club, I don't care what but their needs to be a statement. The players need to stand up and be counted. After the Bolton game Kenny said some very truthful words about the players. You have to give it everything when you put on that Red jersey, you need to play for your team and play for your club and that goes for any team at any level. A few of our players have been subjects of big money moves and increased wages and right now we need them to show what they were bought for, and what Kenny saw in them. A few positives from todays game while I have the chance to express them: Shelvey was our MOTM, he always showed for the ball and used it well, he was very impressive and very composed. Bellamy was back. And he was a threat all match even when not playing in his best position, he could be pivotal in the F.A. Cup this season and the league. Enrique kept a clean sheet. Okay I can't think of anything else Edit- Imagine if Suarez reacted the way Perch did to Reina.
Exactly - also who was the defender that threw himself to the ground when Suarez didn't touch him? The replay went on and all we got from the commentator was "well" and that was it. "Well". Do you think that is all that would have been said if EXACTLY the same thing happened but the other way round? That ****ing drove me wild.
Suarez is no saint but it's such a shame that he's going to take stick for everything he does, when pundits and commentators are going to turn a blind eye to what other plays do that is a lot worse.
I've already found a solution, well, two solutions actually so take your pick: 1 - mute button or 2 - watch it on a foreign feed Of course, watching it in the pub kind of makes both these options difficult but then, how often can you hear the TV in the pub...?
All this stuff about responsibility of players but not a squeak about responsibility of fans. A wobble after a cup win and everything's doom and ****ing gloom. I wish there was a transfer market for fans because a cull is needed. It's like Roy Hodgson signed them or something. They're the fan equivalent of Poulsen and Konchesky.
