Tottenham may need yo look elsewhere . I fear there could be nothing left at Wembley.once Millwall have finished with it.

We'll have to watch out for Hammill next season, or is this to be one of those WBA 2 QPR 3 days at Wembley? Next goal will certainly be an important one, either way.

3-1 Barnsley, likely done & dusted.

I believe the commentator indicated Barnsley had the best League One form since Christmas, they just snuck into the play-offs, over our other crowd favourite, Scunthorpe, so they've done really well and deserve promotion. The way they're playing, likely no push over for us next season.

Promotion with two Wembley trophies, not a bad record for a caretaker manager.

Hard to believe Dec19th after a 2-0 home defeat to Wigan they were languishing in the relegation zone.

Fantastic turn-around. Kiwi and the Barnsley board will be celebrating!

King hell Nines, now when we are bottom at Christmas no one will give up hope*

    * I do not expect us to be bottom, I expect us to be between 12th and 15th all season. Might be play off if we win the first game.

Yes we'll have the same problem of disproportionate expectation if we win our first game. I wonder who it will be against? Now we have all the runners and riders we can do the annual 'First Game?' thread.

Do you want to do the honours?

Matty Phillips in the Scottish team playing in Italy tonight, hopefully he'll find the form we haven't seen this season and put a million or two on his asking price...

Should be an interesting game - Mark McGhee is worried about them getting "embarrassed" whilst Strachan is saying they've got everything to prove, but nothing to lose so should go and express themselves - bodes for an open.game if nothing else

Germany beaten 3-1 at home by Slovakia today, that may put England's recent win over the Germans into perspective before we get too far ahead of ourselves going into the Euros. Performances since that win have been less encouraging...
