Shadow effect amazing.

 

Isn’t it? I love the lighting on his face contrasting with the darker shadow, and then there’s that extra shadow on the right of the picture. Although the construction of this artistically is beyond beyond me, I love anything in life where you observe someone of immense skill at the peak of their game.

I love watching just how quickly cloud formations can change to create a different picture. You have to be lucky with many pictures to capture the image at a given moment.

 

A friend of mine took this image of snow falling on a tree outside his house in Swaledale last night.... Photo lit up by his torch...

I just love the composition of this image, the colours and the movement of the sea. This is from my favourite island.

 

I never knew Canvey Island could be so pretty.

That’s a little bit photoshopped, yorkie. It’s called Kerið (kerrith) and there’s loads of pics online of it, but without the pupil! Where’s ak when you need him?

I don't mind that as long as we are told its shopped, it makes an interesting pictur non the less.
