Only a fool would write Arsenal off at this stage. But you desparately need Fabregas back - he seems to be the difference between you having lots of possession, and actually making something out of that possession.
Agree Possession counts for nothing unless you use it to put that round thing in the net. Without him, we play neat possession football right up to the 18 yd line and then it all falls apart. Fabregas can pick out the killer pass that makes the difference.
Arshavin, Nasri and Wilshere can all make an incisive pass - but Fabregas is the master of unlocking defences.
Should be after the International break, along with Theo and Song hopefully. From our last games we should be looking to win them all, and could possibly draw 1 to have a chance at the title, have to beat United at the Emirates though
I tell you what, if you could get Arshavin playing consistently you'd have one of the best in the world. His technique is supreme, but he just looks appalling at times.
I guess he is just one of those players, however I do like the fact that anything can happen him. He is not bound by whether the team plays well or not as he is capable of making an impact at any time. He can score a 25 yard screamer and his next touch will be to misplace a 5 yard pass whilst not under pressure. I get the feeling no one knows what he will do next, least of all himself.
