Tiote and Cabaye were by far and away the 2 dirtiest players on the field yesterday - how Tiote stayed on when he turned around and hit Larsson in the face I have no idea - not even a yellow card!

I turned to my Dad when he fouled Fletcher for the free-kick that led to our goal and said "at least 7 fouls now including hitting someone in the face and still no card"

I'm now glad he didn't get booked for that last foul as Fletcher's quick thinking got us going and got us the goal.

I loved hearing Poyet talk after the match when the Talksport pundit said "Inspired substitution" and he said "I made the substitutions not because Ki is better than Cattermole but because they are 2 different types of player and I wanted to change it to try to get the points. But today is not for me - it's about the players that went out and did there job for us"

Of course I'm paraphrasing but I love the fact that he didn't try to take the gloss off the players and heaped praise on them.

The season had just started and we won our first game...

Funny that Tiote was whinging to the ref, yet again, when Colback ran away with ball for the winner

What he did to larsson actually was worse than when Sess "floored" him at Sid James.

    Shocking double standards of refereeing.

Loved hearing Pardew twist on at the end. I can't remember a game for a long time when our keeper barely had a save to make (apart from their goal).

When Fletcher took the free kick quickly, I was telling our lass that is the sort if enthusiasm we need. I hadnt finished my sentence when we scored. Game changing move by Fletch.

Cabaye took out Fletch in the first 5 mins, Fletch gets the card.
Tiote fouls god knows how many times, one dangerously - nothing.
Altidore goes down outside the box, plays on for no advantage, doesn't pull back for foul.
    Pardew blames ref for loss.

Saying that, when Altidore dove (his foot was touched, but still) outside the box I couldn't believe we got the foul.

Don't think I've ever slagged a ref off more than Probert yesterday. Honestly thought he was in their backpocket.

In my opinion that's nonsense Marcus. It looked like he hit him in the face but actually (and I've only seen it once I may be wrong) I think he actually shoved him on the shoulder judging from the replay.
Fletcher got the yellow for diving into the crowd mate, I'm guessing you watched on sky, it didn't update until after the foul. The Cabaye foul was very naughty and the kind of thing I hate in football sly little rakes down the achilles. To be fair on the ref, I thought he had a good game, even though it wasn't a foul for your second goal, the linesman was better placed and he never gave it. You fully deserved the win from the game though so I have no complaints about the referee, a free kick in your opponent's half should never be used as an excuse for conceding anyway, Pardew is just a right twat.

He struck out mate 100%, in the face, not very hard though then left his hand in there and shoved his shoulder. Larsson went down too easy though (footballers are pussies) Could of quite easily been Red card Tiote for violent conduct and yellow card Larsson for unsporting behaviour.
