Watched two games in two days, GB v Brazil, GB v Uruguay. The difference in commentary and post game analysis was incredible. Upbeat positive interesting for Brazil, miserable cynical dour from Mr. Lawrenson for Uruguay. It's time the BBC got rid of Hanson and Lawrenson, saved a fortune and added some new perspective on games. Why not get Faye White to step in, she was a legend for the Arsenal and England ladies. She would also bring some much needed glamour and interest.
Lawro is the most monotonous, boring, unenthusiastic, cynical, pessimistic and uninterested commentator I've ever heard. Good job I don't pay my TV licence, otherwise I'd get really annoyed about it
