I held back from really commenting on here last night and thought, Have a sleep on it, See how you feel tomorrow. Well tomorrow is here and I still feel the same. I said on twitter after the game last night that I've backed and supported SOD all season I said tonight would be the tipping point Sorry SOD You've had a fair crack of the whip Time for change I still stand by that comment. 12 games without a win? Please don't even say give him time. Time is all the blokes had and hes done **** all with it. The "performances" have always been there but we aren't winning, So what more can SOD do? 21 games...... 21 games without a league win, Its ****ing embarrassing, He makes McInnes look like Sir Alex. Sorry SOD, Time for you to sod off
Agree shiny sad to say it as I think he is a good manager. But it is not working neil warnock or olly for me. We need to start winning games again.last night was enough for me.
He has to go today, Tinnion can take temporary charge for Saturday's game whilst we searched for a new manager,
I had been in the patient camp- I then in my mind had given him 2 more games,(23 games by then) and if we haven't won in half a season, Iwould feel different. Having slept on last nights result and our meagre goal shy attempts in the last 2 games, I now feel that what difference will 2 more games make. Even if we won them both and doubled out points tally, what would happen after that. No, enough is enough. Thankyou but we need to move on. Warnock if we could get him.
Sad to say such a shame, great football mind, but sometimes you have to admit something is wrong,we need to deal with it now. I think he will go on to much bigger and better things than us,but city and sod is not working sadly

WHATS THE POINT IN CHANGING MANAGER....EVEN NOW....start again with players he may not want or will need to add to............ THE CLUB EMBARKED UPON A PLAN now that plan was to get the club in a position of stability and sort the finances....the basics to do this we got rid of a number of players that were being paid to much to not do the job or were regarded as not able to fit in and do the job.... ..in the championship we have half a dozen players doing very well thankyou because they all went to different clubs ADDY IS a Midds "hero" scores well and makes em..although they are Mid table he does his bit we made the decision to build from the bottom up not get in journeymen, aged or only suitable for loaning out players.. on high wages. Remember SOD said to a degree my hands are tied we still have half the wage bill going to less than half the players!!!! Now in our predicament we don't seem to be able to attract the odd loan player we need as we are at the bottom! WE do need a forward who can score...12 games and we should have 20 plus goals in the league and at least one goal scorer on 8+ league goals. Jet will get the odd one probably finish the season on 12-14 Baldock just does not seem to fit in as a goal scorer he should be on 8 + league goals by now, at his rate will finish on about 14 -16 for the season, we need someone to finish the season on 22+ ( that's 34 games ) we conceded 2 goals but had the possession...so we are suckers for the goal on the break or bad keeping or bad luck! ? Had we scored first, I think that is the key, the opposition will need to open more and become more vulnerable, at the moment they start knowing they just have 90 mins to wait till the final whistle and a point or the odd goal win as we cant score and 3 points.. god help the first team we put 2 past in the first half hour! or go in 2 up!
All very noble aspirations but not at the expense of leaving L1 for L2. The plan may have cut the wage bill but it's also cut attendances and the fans belief and patience with the board, owner, manager and current crop of no hopers that pull on a red shirt for a mere £3k - £5k a week
I do not think they are no hopers, probably reasonable L1 progressing to Championship status..by the time we get there the present squad will be "3-5 years older" and a different grade of youngster CHAMPIONSHIP to PREM should be fostered...to survive in the prem you have to buy quality at least a forward, midfielder and defender all expierenced and with 2-3 years still to give. I think the attendances were due to drop...probably I thought to around 12 -12500, but bear in mind the opposition is being watched at home by only 5-8000 so away support is relative? City fans have a history of impatience and lack of belief with the club..that wont change much even should we get 20 points from our next 11 games!!!!! traffic on the forum has certainly gone up since our 7th game !!!!!!
What would we prefer. A good manager, or a lucky one? Deflected goals, extra time goals, crazy penalties against players going nowhere in the box, dreadful back-pass....all the traits of an unlucky team and an unlucky manager. We need to change our luck, and that doesn't mean a change of socks, or a different routine on the way to the game each Saturday. And so, although I really liked the O'Driscoll and I really, really wanted him to succeed, and I think in other circumstances he might have been a good manager for us, we probably have to bite the bullet and make the change. I am not a SOD OUT person, but more a ANYTHING BUT THE STATUS QUO right now, as no further games are going to turn him into a lucky manager for us.
Luck tends to even itself out Cant go on blaming luck, fans etc when where the failings are is obvious
