Good to see Tim Krul has made the cut and plays in the World Cup for Netherlands Van Der Vaart is dropped from squad.
He had a poor second half of the season so wouldn't have been surprised to see him miss out, but glad he's made it. It doesn't do us any harm as a club when our players make world cup squads as it hopefully raises our profile, both in terms of potential merchandising and potential signings. Sadly that word - potential - is not one we have a great track record in converting into reality!
