So, off the back of a solid win against Dynamo Dresden, the Tiger's take on the much more difficult prospect of 1.Bundesliga side Eintracht Braunschweig (or Brunswick, ****ed if I'm typing Braunschweig every time). On the face of it, this should be a good game. We're looking like we're gelling well and the new signings are settling in nicely; the more you see Sagbo's goal, the better it becomes. You can't predict a season based on friendly matches, but the omens are getting rosier. Having lost Evans and Cairney to Blackburn while losing Daylon Claasen to a red tape issue, Brucey has turned to Eric Tie Bi, a tough tackling midfielder from Sagbo's former club Evian. With rumours of Paul Scharner gathering pace and an electric Egyptian coming in on trial, the midfield looks like it will be sorted before we travel to Stamford Bridge. Expect Steve Bruce to retain the 4-3-3 that Dresden woefully caved in to, which should look something like this: ---------------McGregor----------- Elmo - Davies - Chester - Figueroa ----------- Koren -Tie Bi - Quinn Aluko ---------- Sagbo ------ Brady You might see Graham playing in the starting role to give him minutes, or maybe a run out for Proschwitz against his compatriots. To those attending, I wish you good luck; I'll be relying on Phil Buckingham's updates (assuming he's still there). KO: 17.00 (GMT) Prediction: 2-0 to Hull City AFC, goals from Aluko and Sagbo.
It is expected Danny Graham, Nick Proschwitz, Liam Rosenior and Paul McShane will be handed extended run-outs in Goslar. Trialist Eric Tie Bi will also feature. I expect more: ---------------McGregor----------- Rosenior - Davies - McShane - Dudgeon ----------- Koren -Tie Bi - Boyd------- ----------------Aluko------------------ ---------- Graham ------ Proshwitz-----
It's a really neat goal. Braunschweig won't be easy. I was betting on them last season because they were so much stronger than the rest of their league. We should be able to beat them but I think it'll be 1-1 or 2-2
The ground we're playing in tonight looks a bit like North Ferriby... please log in to view this image And the kick-off's been moved forward an hour, as the floodlights aren't good enough for a night match. This trip continues to be a bit of a farce.

As Macca beat me to the team sheet, I'm amending this post to just confirm we're playing 4-3-3 again.
Bruce in an interview this week said something like 'we used 352 last year to get 25 wins, but we won't win that many this season so we'll explore different formations' so hopefully this means we'll used a more solid formation vs Chelsea, otherwise we'd get spaggered.
