Nearest thing i ve seen to beating 'Don't Stop Believing' as the new walk on music. At 2 mins 16 secs though, they'd have be sharp getting on the pitch!
Imelda May is exellent if your into that Rockabilly vibe, she,s coming to Hull City Hall on the 28th, I,m really looking forward to her show.
I know we used to play it, so it has history on it's side, but I think it's a crap song to run out to.
Whoever's promoting it must think they'll fill a venue that size. I wouldn't bank on it though - they'll probs lose money.....
Have I suggested this before on here???????
I know exactley what you mean Mussie, its not the best venue for a show is it. Alright for Val Doonican type of acts and thats about it.
Oh no. ^^^^^ this is so limp and gay. Maybe Iron Maiden or Metallica can do a proper version with Umphhhhh ? OR grab the copy that was played at Boothferry Park.
You didn't, but as Tiger Rag was played at BP, quite a few people think we should start playing it again.
olm, i mostly agree with lots you have to say on here, but i think its fab!! i remember city running out to the original as i have mentioned on here before. must have been around 1965+ it was also used in a popeye cartoon which was in black n white from god knows when. maybe some of u cubs could find the popeye cartoon i mentioned. gotta be better than the elvis tune.that is dire! have a good summer kids.i am off to thailand for 6 weeks of love and peace, and maybe floods!! tara!!
The words to Tiger Rag are very uplifting in places and could in part be put into the intro music. imo.
Couldn't it be part of the build up music or just played in brief snatches? Why should a club have just one song? Some have several...Everton have 'Grand Old Team' and 'Z Cars theme' They are basically pieces of music which have associations with the city or club. Mind you, some on here probably think a Will Young song would be ideal
The lyrics to Tiger Rag are utter dog ****e... Hold that tiger, hold that tiger Hold that tiger, hold that tiger Hold that tiger, hold that tiger Hold that tiger Where's that tiger? Where's that tiger? Here's that tiger Where's that tiger? Here's that tiger Where's that tiger? There's that tiger Hold that tiger, hold that tiger Hold that tiger, hold that tiger Hold that tiger, hold that tiger Hold that tiger Where's that tiger? Where's that tiger? Here's that tiger Where's that tiger? Here's that tiger Where's that tiger? There's that tiger Hold that tiger The best versions don't have any lyrics, it's a fast paced jazz tune, it was never supposed to have lyrics.
