The tickets are being put on restricted sale, even though we have been given our full allocation of 1497. Is this because there is now such a huge demand for away games, or is the club trying to punish those who haven't renewed their S/T's or Valley Gold membership? It's been the away game that's generated the most attention on social media thus far, probably because of the easy travel arrangements. The club appear to have pounced on that.
Oxford only pulled in 6,000 for their last home game, so I am guessing any malice is from our side. I am sure we will sell out 1,400 for this one, it almost qualifies as a local derby this season.
