As I've not been able to get to Priestfield I tried getting my season ticket online, can anyone help this grumpy old git (and techno-phobe)

Having logged in my seat is showing as unavailable? how do I overcome this problem.

Please give any reply in idiot proof, step by step instructions.

grumpygit - try following milo219 instructions. I have not looked at the online ticket but I assume the reason your seat is unavailable is because it already belongs to you until the cut off date, hence the renewals option.

Thanks milo, that seemed to work fine and they didn't mention anything about a photo?

The Club have uploaded your avatar instead - still with one or two displays 'last' season (Wycombe) you wouldn't have replicating that expression !

Just brought mine and my nephew's season tickets online for next season, had problems at first with it processing so hopefully they don't end up taking out double payments however all done now, annoyingly they charge £2.50 per season ticket for booking fees so may have been better to have just gone to the ticket office.

Has anyone got ST from booking office - do you need to take a picture with you or will they take one? I usually collect Throwoffs too - can I still do that?

oldsparky - no idea personally fella. Funny enough I sent the club a reply tweet this morning on the back of their ad for the closure date of cheaper renewals, asking what happens regards id with online renewals, thinking of grumpygit's prompt of the question on this thread. However, as is normal with the clubs twitter account and its communication, the response tends to be slow if forthcoming at all.

OK. the latest update for online season ticket.
Having gone through the online procedure (very easy once you know how) I have now had a email from the club saying that I will need to take, send, or email a passport size photo to the ticket office. As they didn't specify "a photo of what" if anyone has a spare one they don't need!:emoticon-0111-blush

Thanks guys -I didnt get a chance to ring yet - will need a photo of myself and Mr throwoff then, will prob go on Sat (assuming they are open)

Have the club actually published the terms and condition of next years tickets yet - are they non transferrable? - do you need the picture id card to get in the ground? (not trying to wind up BRB but as i'm about to part with £700 odd quid it would be nice to know!)

    L1 here we come

I shouldn't worry old sparky you couldn't wind me up any more than her indoors yesterday...I walked past her and caught her reading the Daily Malice Online, well you can imagine my reaction, joking style of course. Her excuse was it was the Mail Online not the Daily Mail <doh>

I obviously kindly reminded her of its stance against football supporters, to which her reply was well I don't read the sports section! After a conversation like that I thought it best to give it up as a lost cause. <laugh>

So..... Saturday and myself and the smaller throwoff went to the ticket office to get season tickets - the big throwoff being detained in Medway hospital waiting for new baby. Having placed several hundred pounds in the hands of GFC we moved to the subject of the ID pictures. There was no explanation from the staff as to what these were for, how they will be used, wether they will be added to some kind of on line database etc etc. I asked if the tickets were still transferrable - one perky young chap said "no they never have been, well they have but you have to fill in and form and no one worries - maybe you will have to pay a fee in the future"

So poorer and no idea what the ID cards are for and wether tickets can be transferred

    No surprise really!

oldsparky - thanks for the feedback but as you might guess with my views this opens a whole new can of worms for me. People are employed by the club to collect our private data ie photo id. Yet they are not able to advise us why, what, where and when?

Like you I'm old enough to remember the complete nonsense of the "football supporters act" or whatever it was called. We really dont want to go there again.

I really thought the club would have had an explanation of the ID card and why we need it now ready for when we paid for the tickets, I guess we will get more information when we get the season tickets?

Season Ticket renewed x 2 including £5 total admin!

£705 I think I need to go and have a lay down now. Although I will get £350 of that back from my lad.
