Took me 2.5 hours to get home from the Airport and my Cousin just called me from the Redheugh Bridge 3 hours since she set off from the RVI in Newcastle. ****e day to be a motorist today.
Just seen the state of the weather over in the UK on Sky News, it showed lightning striking a bridge in Newcastle, not sure it was the tyne or not? We are having winter days here better than UK summer.
It's never Thursday at the Metro Centre, it's always last or first day in the month of sale. I have a radged lab/retriever who is basically half otter(no he is intact) and mid monsoon today I open the door to watch the show and he sauntered out lay on the patio in an inch of water and chilled, the neurotic lurcher, skip, ****in hates the rain. ****in dogs eh! No no no that came out wrong!!
All hail Noah. We got sent home early from work to night because the leccy went off. It was off at home too but luckily I have candles & a gas cooker so I ate my steak in a dismal light. It came back on about 11.20 I guess. Hats off to the leccy engineers, top lads, .
I've only ever seen rain like that in my 43 years on this planet once before when I was in Sheffield, ****in MONSTER MONSOON!!!
We get it every month over here..... Did the Wear hold up by the way?? Havn't heard much news on Sunderland flooding? Maybe it was Gods was to clean the unwashed......
Mind on a serious note all the news was Newcastle, it would seem the rain only hit Newcastle, well either that of the powers that be are Newcastle obsessed, no, that could never be.
It seems here in Annfield Plain we did not have the weather they had on the Tyne although Lanchester was flooded and we had thunder and lightning along with rain so strong it was difficult see very far
