    I think Straidnahana has a good chance in the 2 30 newcastle ,sure the fav is unblemished at the track , but is nearly a stone more over longer distance , that’s a fair burden imposed , sue smiths runner by contrast is eased in grade , and the stable are stil, going well . At 6/1 it seems a big price for a horse of this calibre against this opposition.

    horse looks on the down grade , fav and him well beaten , i suppose the ground wasn’t as soft as he prefers but doubt that would have mattered , winner was well handicapped
