the football should be straighforward enough after maybe a tough 20 minutes.

the shmall bawl should be a good game. I expect Tipp to win. Limerick will bring a hard running game that will be tough to keep going for the full 70.

 

Tipp leading 0-3 to 0-1 early on. Playing really well and defending like hounds.

 

Kerry misfiring badly.

I expect them to come through this and I expect them to be better when they play Cork. The game should stand to them and it is a game I wish we were having tbh. Knocking the championship rust off is no bad thing.

Young Shane Dowling was sensational as a u-21 last year. He is only 19 but has put his stamp on this game scoring all 4 of Limericks points so far.

One an absolute monster point from half way off his left side. (he's a lefty, but it just looks nicer).

very simple pass from Brian O'Meara after John O'Brien won the ball and slipped it to him then a low, hard, angled drive. A nice goal

Goal, Graham Mulcahy.

After an amazing save from Mulcahy the ball broke to the wing. Hooked back in. Mulcahy lifted it, danced around Padraig Maher and blasted home.

Tipp respond with a great score.

Great game so far. Limerick the better side.

 

Eoin Kelly had his head practically ripped off twice and the ref gave nothing. He got subbed off for his troubles. He hasn't been good and looks a touch rotund.

limerick lead by 4 and are well worth it.

 

Dowling is a sensational hurler.

John O'Brien had a solid game for Tipp too. Who won motm?
