Just another match-day in West London http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...reats-rumours-abuse-West-London.html?ITO=1490
I think it's time to move on. Both clubs have better things to be getting on with. ( But it would be good to see Liverpool get drawn at the bridge. )
But to be fair it's the same everywhere - If something happened due to them not searching someone they'd be in deep ****
When i went to go in yesterday the security fella searched me and found my lunch..........a BANANNA !!! First he was gonna take it off me but when i protested that i was hungry and being a vegetarian i wanted something better to eat than a burnt cheese pastie or a chocolate bar he called a supervisor over who said of course i could take it in as long as i was gonna eat it !!! It could only happen in England
Excuse the intrusion......
By their actions backing him every time, its not a coincidence 2 black players asked for a transfer days after this happened.
Good point Flyer, Liverpool made a complete bollox of giving 'support' to Suarez and although Chelsea haven't gone as far AVB hasn't covered himself in glory with his support for Terry. You look at Chelsea yesterday and there's clearly something not right there, this was a team that when Ancelotti and Wilkins were there would've pasted us yesterday, the spark has gone and Terry is part of the problem, not the solution...
A classic! I wonder if you'd have been allowed to keep it if you were a Chelsea fan. Having seen photographs of the Liverpool fan making monkey gestures from the terraces, presumably at Evra, you can see what security might have been looking for...
Liverpool are just as bad as them, they have been a joke too, as have their fans and its no surprise a moron was doing monkey chants at Evra. Chelsea are an ageing team with a a joke of a forward who was outshone by Rob ****ing Hulse, a defender who cant defend, another defender who likes mobiles up his arse and the most hated footballer in the UK as their captain. We are a lot closer to achieving our goals than they are achieving theirs and that makes me happy.
Umm... your original post referred to the Mail, not Chelsea. So I ask again, how do they support racism?
Sadly, given the hype and JT's court appearance, it's always possible you were thinking of throwing it at Cole or Essien. I do understand their caution....
Frrom Wikipedia: Lord Rothermere (Daily Mail Publisher between the two world wars) was a friend and supporter of both Benito Mussolini and Adolf Hitler, which influenced the Mail's political stance towards them during the 1930s. Rothermere's 1933 leader "Youth Triumphant" praised the new Nazi regime's accomplishments, and was subsequently used as propaganda by them. “ The minor misdeeds of individual Nazis would be submerged by the immense benefits the new regime is already bestowing on Germany (1933). ” —Lord Rothermere, publisher Rothermere and the Mail were also editorially sympathetic to Oswald Mosley and the British Union of Fascists. Rothermere wrote an article entitled "Hurrah for the Blackshirts" in January 1934, praising Mosley for his "sound, commonsense, Conservative doctrine". This support ended after violence at a BUF rally in Kensington Olympia later that year. That's the root of it all, Telford. It's why DM readers and journalists are generally branded, even today, as far-right in their views, whether that remains so or not.
