Think it's happened on Southampton's forum too. 'Twas annoying as I wanted to comment on one of them. Edit: Actually, I've just seen a lot more have been closed. Odd, but it has happened before.
I'm quite surprised, that this thread has sat here all evening and some little scamp hasn't made a joke about clubs closing!
I'm coming for youuu Dev. Think I've got more chance of winning the attendance game than the lottery game though...
Can't work out why they are getting closed- only happened a few days ago as well as today. Hopefully it won't happen again now
I have my suspicions - but no proof or evidence - and I suspect it will happen again, and again, and again........... until the culprit is fingered!
Some culprits might like that sort of thing and carry on doing it, just for kicks. PM me, your suspicions 3rd Eye, if you like, because I haven't got a clue. I need the Hardy boys to sort this one out.
As syd says only the mods for the board on which a thread was initiated can, in theory, close a thread. If any-one sees a thread closed on here for no apparent reason, please send a PM to the mods for that board to ask for it to be re-opened. For a cross board thread you will need to contact the correct mods, as we can't make changess to threads on each others' boards. E.g for a Saints/Pompey thread, look at the banner at the top. If it's a Pompey banner contact Pompey Mods and if it's a Saints banner contact the Saints Mods.
I have to admit that we too have been the odd victim of threads being closed by unknown. Usually if we close a thread we let each other know. It might be an idea to have a word with Mick to see if security can be increased in this area.
Yesterday only 3 threads were left open. Somebody knows how to, and is, exploiting a weakness in the system. Careful SB3 - you know you're going to be blamed
