Well wasn't yesterday just brilliant, one of the most enjoyable home games of the season that one for me! Massive crowd, brilliant atmosphere and three points! Throughout the afternoon the Rainham end barely stopped singing! I felt we definitely deserved the win and the 2 1 scoreline flattered Plymouth a little bit. We could of been out of sight by half time, Whelps had a header in the first few minutes when he was totally unmarked and the Plymouth keeper made a good save from a header from a corner. I don't think anyone had a bad game but i thought the two that stood out were Dack and German. Either of these two were worthy of man of the match as they both made a positive impact in the game. German used his strengths very well I thought, won flick on's, used his pace and was a threat right up until he was substituted. Dack was brilliant aswell every time he picked up the ball I was confident he would do something useful with it, like Jack Payne its hard to believe how young he is, as he makes a massive difference. I was very glad to see Danny East and Michael Richardson make their debuts, I remember Danny East making a brilliant crunching challenge and Richardson looked calm and composed when on the ball! Finally chant of the day has to go to the Rainham end for this cracker 'There's only one decent German, one decent German' UTG, promotion is nearly within our grasp!
