Felix appears to understand the concerns being raised in our forum, and addresses them pretty well too. We need time to get the detail right and time is what we must give, so less of the Magath Out IMO. Link to our managers thoughts; http://www.fulhamfc.com/news/2014/august/28/thoughts-from-the-manager
Did he mean 'British' players instead of predominantly English, as so far out of the 7 English in the 35 man squad he's only played 3 regularly !!! Parker, Woodrow & Roberts.
I didn't understand the 'Thoughts' of Felix and Khan in trying to shift blame on to MAF - the comments were very unlikely to win over unhappy fans. And as could have been predicted Maf has hit back immediately: http://www.standard.co.uk/sport/foo...37b9d9efaf68&origin=http://www.standard.co.uk One could question MAF's reluctance to invest in the final (two?) years when he had (we now know) decided to sell up; and what happened to the Dembele/Dempsey money; and what happened to the advance loan on TV money. However, doubt if many would do other than agree with what he does have to say. As I said, the Felix/Khan comments were ill judged and likely to backfire.
I think the MAF vs Felix/Khan thing is a little from column A, a little from column B. No, MAF didn't invest when we needed it most, having sold our two best players, but MAF had a big say in where we were when Khan took over, i.e. a well-run, established PL side.
