He is fit again i was reading - and playing in a reserve game v Blackpool today

If he comes through it without getting another injury (unlikely i know) I'd play him along side K Wilson at centre half.

Matthews at right back and Wilson left back for Thursday too - as Mulgrew is injured apparently.

Big Dan isnt good enough IMO

I was defending Dan until Sunday but Sunday was dire and he can go now after that.

Tommy had a bad game in the cup final and Lennon seems to have not trusted him since but he is young and was always going to struggle at some point he'll learn from it I think. Does seem to pick up loads of injures which raises other questions.

Our whole team seem to be injury prone at the moment , with Mulgrew now out,Rogne must have a chance of coming in ,Is Hooiveld fit , surely a better option than big Danny

God knows how we're going to line up at the back on Thursday if K. Wilson isn't fit. Big Maj will be a definite starter whether we like it or not. It would be a big gamble throwing in Rogne or Hooidveld so I wouldn't be surprised to see M. Wilson moved in to the CB position, Matthews at RB and Ledley at LB.

Bit of a selection nightmare for Lennon.

Sadly i too think Big Danny M will be starting on Thursday. Ideally, I'd love to see K.Wilson in with him but failing that, i would got for Ledley at LB, Matthews at RB and M.WIlson to CB to partner Dan.

I think Rogne is definitely one for the future, he just needs a lot more game time and a lot less injuries. There have been games where he has looked solid, and others, such as the final, where he has looked abject and woeful. Hopefully he can get some more games under his belt and move forward quicker than expected.

I'd play Mjallby before i'd play Dan after Sunday's shambolic performance.

We do look abit short in strength at the heart of the defence, K Wilson is a definite at the moment despite only a playing a few games.

Mulgrew looked decent playing there last season but Rangers sussed him out by playing the long ball & having Jelavic stick by him rather than Dan - a tactic other teams no doubt will pick up on & look to exploit his lack of physicality.

Big Dan looked a breath of fresh air when first arriving but is prone to too many errors & I've noticed now how he thinks he's the new Caldwell trying to spray balls around & rarely reaching the target!

Rogne is young & I thought he did alright in the whole last year, bad game at Rangers & he got hooked early on & his confidence was smashed to bits from then on. Hopefully pre-season means he will have forgotten & got over that knock.

Only watched first halfof the game Sunday & the last 20 minutes of the second half so didn't see much of the African kid. He dealt with the little thrown at him I saw but some of his positional play was pretty poor - obviously that will come in time & doesn't help playing pre-season centre mid!

Hoovield - to be honest I have one memory of him getting tore apart from some ****ty striker & then getting injured! Since then he's been ****ed off.

Looven is average at best, prone to mistakes but atleast with him I see abit of fire & passion to make up for his lack of ability!

In truth most defenders within our budget are prone to mistakes, unless we can ship Hoovield out I can't see us adding here with a striker & possibly leftback more pressing for the immediate future.

If Wilson is fit he will start with Dan if not will he stick with the pairing from Sunday? The young lad could get mauled!
