We sold him to Blackpool. Now Manure are after him for £6m. I do not know how good he is as I have never seen him play.

Those who have seen him play do you think we should have kept him or is it a case that with our glut of midfielders he would have been low down the pecking order.

Been brilliant in the Championship for Blackpool, scoring plenty of goals. Not too sure why we let him go, still young, had potential, thought a couple of loan deals would benefit him and then see if he could make the step up ala Suso, Sterling, Wisdom etc.

I always thought he was a great talent. We've sold a few players from the youth set-up who I rated highly, Tom Ince being one of them. I can only think it was down to attitude and a personality clash with the staff at LFC. That's the only real justification I can envisage.

Saw him for the reserves about 5 times. I thought he was class and deserved first team football especially as we were weak on the left. Rumours about his dad edged him towards a move. Was gutted once he left. I thought he would be a great player for us.

Thought he had an attitude problem too.

We didnt sell him, he was offered a new contract, which he turned down, he wanted 1st team football immediately. So he run his contract down and left on a free.Should we done more to keep him, yes, but we didnt sell him

IMO we should have allowed him to sign a contract , which allowed him to be sold, BUT with a buy back clause

More worrying is Alex Kacaniclic who Roy offloaded in a part ex for Paul Konchesky <doh>, now in the 1st 11 at Fulham

He was quite dangerous against us in the playoff final last season. I remember feeling a bit nervous every time he ran at our defense. Haven't seen anything from him besides that one game however, so its hard to give an opinion on him just on that.

Kacaniclic and ince wouldn't have been sold under Brendan, of that I'm sure. Spilt milk though.
