Going to be a very quiet few days on the Saints front with the International break so thought we could discuss this weeks World Cup qualifiers here. All the Home nations are involved this weekend with England facing Moldova on Friday night and our usual struggle to find a fit forward line. Who would you play up front? Whoever starts it should be an easy win for Roy's team though? Davis and NI face a hard trip to Russia and I can't see anything but a defeat for them there. Wales also have a hard game with Belgium at home and Scotland face Serbia on saturday. THe ROI seem to have the easiest task away at Kazakhstan. What do we all think?
Don't know whether it's good for us or not. If we played Arsenal this week and lost could be catastrophic for confidence, even though we could all expect it. Perhaps a break now will give chance to regroup for those who aren't away on duty. I also liked the way that Adkins looked a bit proud when he said that we had 8 away on international duty (presumably including U21 as well).
Ward-Prowse is in the England U19s while Shaw, Chambers and Stephens have all been placed on standby if that counts.
Holiday...Purely because i want to get away from international break. Well not quite but it's worked out rather well
Adam Johnson is now out tomorrow so the injury jinx is starting again. Who do we think Roy will start with up front tomorrow?
Yoshida playing for japan against UAE at the moment stream here if anyone is interested http://www.dmi.ae/dubaisports/live.asp
