Maybe this has been 'in the air' for some time, but I just came across it this morning: http://www.theguardian.com/football...erm=166567&subid=10107068&CMP=EMCNEWEML6619I2 Leicester's finances being investigated?
Does sound dodgy, but then I don't really trust newspapers or news services, they always twist things to get a "story"! I'll wait for the outcome. Hopefully it'll be a fine rather than any points deducted if they're found guilty of anything. It would be a bit pointless deducting points seen as it's from years ago now!
The Football League can't deduct points in the Premier League, they can only fine them and as they're probably about win the Premier League and they're in the Champions League, they're unlikely to care. I suspect there's deals like this going on all over the place anyway, it's peanuts compared to the ridiculous £80m a year in sponsorship that Man City's owners pay themselves.
