Am off to the Bush in half an hour to have late breakfast with some friends before we go to the match. I can see us all sitting there looking at the food and not eating anything! Just hope the day goes well...
Col, don't forget those of us who will be watching and listening from afar. Really wish i was there today to support our boys. This is the must win of must win games. Have not been as nervous as this in a long long time. No finger nails left. Wife telling me to calm down as it's only a football match. I can't repeat my answer to her although i have since apologised and will probably be apologising all day. By tonight we could be all but safe or all but down. So many possibilities. Enjoy the game. In years to come we will all look back on today as one of those seminal matches, one which shapes the future years. We must ensure that it is remembered for the right reasons, all those in the stadium must play their part. We cannot influence what Bolton do, but we damn well know that we can influence our own match. Today we must cheer the players, fill them with confidence and at all times remain patient with them. I've had a vision...Its a full (hunters) moon tonight and I'm watching the fireworks display at the South bank. Most of the fire works exploding are red and white, so i'm taking this as a sign that stoke will self distruct tonight.....! Also the one that went highest was blue(ish) and white.....surely this means something, doesnt it?, someone, anyone, help me out here i'm die-ing !!
