No way. Everton were the best team I've seen us play this season (at home) but a draw was the fair result. They bossed the opening 40 minutes but we had a cracking last 5 and had the only decent chances of the half. Second half we stepped it up and started to take control but for a frenetic last 10 minutes when either side could have snatched it. All credit to Everton for plating really well but I'm pleased with how resilient we were and how much we improved after the break. 5 points clear in the second week of December. Very nice.
That's a fair assessment, a draw was a fair result imo. For all our fantastic play in the first half it lacked a killer ball in the final 3rd & you defended very well, which meant we failed to create clear cut openings.
