Thierry Henry - OVERRATED?

I dont believe or be taken in by all this hype by the media and journalists as Thierry Henry being one of the greatest ever footballers. Henry was a good player but his sole asset was pace. He didnt have any craft or trickery and if one analyses his style it becomes so obvious and apparent that he needed space behind a defence for him to be effective.

I can think of atleast ten premiership players that were much better than Henry. Henry does not belong in the same sentence as Cantona, Giggs, Scholes, Zola, Shearer etc.

His arrogance and demeanour was not very helpful either

 

Henry was quality, and we have had our fair share arrorgance at O.T. too

If you're going to try and wind the Arsenal fans up, at least do it on the Arsenal board

Henry has the fifth highest number of assists out of any PL player ever, despite only playing for eight seasons. He was probably the best all round striker to ever play in the PL imo. So no, not overrated. Although yes, very arrogant.

 

Henry may have been a cheat but what a player at his height. Quality.

Henry was quality, sorry!

 

Even as a UTD fan I won't hesitate in saying Henry was a quality player, dreaded him playing against us.
