So picture the scene..... here i am in the Marriott, Surfers Paradise, exec suitew ith the misus to celebrate her birthday ..ok..yes dirty weekend away! We paid $750 / night for the suite on discount, had champers delivered, in suite jaccuzi looking out over the beach and resort. Swimming with fish in the laggon pool, heated outdoor pools, jet boating, massage and hot & cold running servants.... You get the idea..luxury..... So we go to the restaurant for lunch ($85/head)...having a great meal of fantastic food and drinks..... I hear a family near us being seated, andnaturally turn around out of curiosity.. TO MY DISGUST.... Family of 5; 3 young kids,......only thing is...1 of them is wearing the stupid green/illuminous Chelsea shirt... I consider asking to be moved ; but instead i throw my salmon and Barramundi entre' to the floor...... Is there no-where these horrid specimins will turn up....?!!!!!!!!!!!!! Cant wait to get back to Brissie...UUUUURRRRRRR'ssssssssssss

it's the heat out here that does it, well, not so much the heat but the humidity. add to that the consumption of the aforementioned beverage, and the resulting dehydration, many an early settler over here can struggle to keep their cool whilst watching the team they love implode.
