Just a bit of a random ramble by me. Just looking at the forum and the threads. We have a mixture of football and ot threads. The lack of football ones stems from several reasons. Lack of games due to daft int. breaks. No news from the club and the poor form. The ot threads are wide and varied. From pies to politics. Then from doctors striking to some hussy in the ufc getting her lights put out. This forum has a good mixture (although some dont like the ot stuff) and the ability to natter and argue about just about anything. Then i popped over to the mags board for a look. A board i used to like also for a natter and maybe an arguement. But **** me, there are 7 or 8 games threads on there. Its a ****ing abortion ( unless you are aged under 15). I truely believe that board has taken its last breathes if air and is gulping. Desperate for something to cling onto its turned into a games forum. Its sad, it was once a topper board. Anyhow my point of my rambling. For those out there that dont post to often or have never started a thread, please do so. This forum is only as good as its members and content. If you want more football talk, please dont be shy. Post or start a thread. No ones gonna bite you. As for the more prolific posters. Keep it up, some of your posts and threads on all subjects are topper. Random ramble over.
We can talk about owt on here, lots of random bollocks. Quite often the o/t threads are the ones that generate the most interest.
Good 'un, Commo. I don't get involved in a lot of OT stuff, but I agree with you that we need that diversity. Sometimes, we're all in the dumps about results, and, right now, we can't even afford the luxury of belly-aching because Sam's only had three games. At times like this, a board can sink into either OT topics or personal bitching like little school girls. The latter very often drives people away or, like me, to use the ignore button more often. I think we need the OT topics to keep us healthy. Especially at 'doldrum' periods like now.
Well I think we should have a thread featuring the Mexican Weather Forecast Presenter EVERY DAY. I guarantee that your eye's will never be the same after the 25 second mark: Wears a different outfit every day - not that you'd notice. (Also had 40 million hits on YouTube)
There's many a time I hear the news or latest stories of interest and go ''Is it just me that thinks..........'' Then this forum shows that others are having similar thoughts or are pointing out an opinion or fact which shows me why I may be wrong. Allways some intellect and allways some daftness on here.! (you can keep facebook and it's pictures of peoples food) Long may it continue, I appreciate your posts and your company fellas.
We're always going to get people who are offended by anything on these boards, but sometimes people forget when you're in a pub for example, with 60 other folk, you're not all going to get along, eventually, after several drinks are consumed, there'll inevitably be somebody with a mouth that gets them in trouble and divides will happen. People have a lot of barneys on here, it's disproportionate but there's an ability with most intelligent people to be able to bury it and move on. I've clashed with Funkatron more times than I care to remember on here and we always bury it on the thread it happened on, never let it get out of hand. There's some huge characters on here and maybe newcomers are intimidated by 'them'. All I can say, from my end, is everybody on here who is a genuinely decent poster and with good intentions will always have a good ride on this board, without being abused. I generally start OT threads, when I do start threads, because a lot of the time you're losing games and you're all ****ing miseries after the latest result

Good going considering there was only about 4 of us on there I think it was Billy's piledriving triple anal granny thread, that he posted entirely on his own, that done the damage.
I'm not afraid to get heated with bro's. It's as true on message boards as it is in real life. I know you're sound and know you think I'm sound. I know there'll never be a permanent fall out. Friendship will always withstand isolated disagreements. I know you get that so we can debate on anything and if it goes tits up so ****, we'll be sound regardless.
